History
Jack Steindl and Reg Marzec founded Normandy Builders in 1979 with the idea of creating a better kind of home remodeling company in the Chicago area. The goal was to take the stress out of Chicago home improvement. This is why we bring our award-winning designers to you, provide an interactive showroom and design center to make all of your selections and assign you your own project manager to handle all of your construction needs. Their idea has proven so successful they now have a staff of over 40 designers, architects, project managers and craftsmen. After long and careful consideration, we decided to change our name to “Normandy Remodeling” to best convey what our customers can expect from Normandy: a design build experience with concept drawings, architectural blueprints and the skillful construction of those plans, all with the guidance and involvement of the designer from start to finish.
